Council is seeking expressions of interest via a business proposal from suitable local businesses for the establishment of a visitor shuttle bus service to/from the Broken Hill Airport to the Central Business District/accommodation premises to supplement the existing transport operators in the City.
What Council will offer:
- Free advertising of the Shuttle Bus service at the Airport and on Council’s website/social media channels; and
- Free use of a designated parking space at the Airport terminal.
What the successful business will offer:
- A daily return Airport shuttle bus service that aligns with the arrival and departure schedules of daily commercial flights to/from the Broken Hill Airport.

The Airport shuttle bus service should provide a minimum service of the following pickup locations:
- a set location in the Central Business District; and
- all local accommodation premises within Broken Hill or at the discretion of the successful provider.
Expressions of interest via a business proposal and outlining a proposed timetable and fares, should be addressed to the General Manager and forwarded to Council.
