Broken Hill Outback Archives

The Broken Hill Outback Archives are temporarily closed to the public.

Outback Archives are relocating the collection to a temporary storage location whilst construction of the new Library/Archive facility is underway.

During this time we will continue to work on the Archive digitisation program.

The following organizations and resources are available to assist you with your enquiries during this period:

Broken Hill Historical Society

The Society has been preserving the material history of the Broken Hill region, through the development and management of four regional museums.

Broken Hill Family History Group

Community history resource centre specialising in family history and cemetery enquiries

Phone: 08 80881266

For best results it is recommended that you provide your full details, be as specific as possible about what you are researching, including names and dates and details of any records you have already searched.
