Sharing the National Collection

19 Apr 2026 The Broken Hill City Art Gallery is truly honoured to share works from the National Gallery of Australia as part of the Sharing the National Collection initiative. Home to the most valuable collection of art in Australia, the national collection comprises over 155,000 works of art, including the world’s largest collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art.
