Silver City Energy Storage Project Community Drop in Session

The Silver City Energy Storage is a large-scale energy storage project that will enhance the economics of renewable energy projects in the region whilst acting as an important standalone reliability solution for the power network in Broken Hill and wider NSW. The project is being jointly developed by Hydrostor and Energy Estate. The project will be located on a local mine site and will coexist with existing mining operations to provide up to 8 hours of electricity discharge at a time (i.e. up to 1,600 MWh).

We invite you to attend the second Community information drop-in session to learn about, and have your say on, the Project. The session will run between 4pm and 8pm, with a short presentation around 6pm.
