Broken Hill Science Fair 2024

Thanks to the support of Maari Ma Health, Foundation Broken Hill, AGL, Tronox and Cobalt Blue, the second Broken Hill Science Fair will take place in the Gary Radford Pavilion of the Broken Hill Racecourse on Sunday 26th May 2024.  The Science Collective is pleased to be offering two fabulous 3-hour sessions on the day with amazing science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session. 

Sing along with Prof Flint of Dinosaur's Down Under and don't miss ScFiBri's fabulous Bubbles and Fire Shows. Bugs n Slugs are back with an even wider range of invertebrates and IgniteVR are offering an amazing Virtual Reality experience for the first time in Broken Hill. There will also be a large range of hands-on science fun with various challenges and an upgraded electric circuit activity.  Maari Ma Health will also be setting up an engaging Toddlers' Corner for our younger visitors. No Science Collective event would ever be complete without the Slime Bar, guaranteed to ensure that every child can take home their very own (non-messy) slime creation. 

We know that with costs rising in many areas a day out with the family needs to be affordable.  So, thanks to our amazing sponsors we can again offer FREE admission to all children under the age of 16 (but they still need tickets).   We have also kept the cost of adult tickets to just $10.
