Support available for local events

Locals looking to hold an event in the 2026/27 financial year are encouraged to come along to an information night to see if they are eligible for financial support from Council.
Through Council's Sponsorship Policy, financial support can be provided for local events that are managed by a registered organisation.
Under the policy, sponsorship preference is given to major events that can match funding dollar-for-dollar, attract visitors, and create opportunities for the local economy.
The information session will be held at Council Chambers at 5.30pm on December 15.
