Palliative-Care-Volunteers

The Far West Local Health District has two teams of Palliative Care Volunteers who are members of the Specialist Palliative Care Team.

The Dementia Delirium and Palliative Care Volunteer Team provide a three hour shift weekly where they visit patients in hospital who are confused, live with dementia or have a life limiting illness. 

Community Palliative Care Volunteers visit patients with a life limiting illness in their own homes.
