Waste 2 Art, a program run by Broken Hill Art Exchange in conjunction with Lifeline Broken Hill and supported by a Community Assistance Grant from Broken Hill City Council, is back! 

After an incredible 2024 exhibition and great success for Broken Hill artists at the regional final, we are delighted to launch the year of toys. 

This year's theme —Toys — is broad and open to interpretation. Participants can create art from broken toys, craft playful objects from waste, upcycle discarded playthings, or explore other imaginative approaches.

There are different categories, from pre-schoolers to professional artists, and many cash prizes to be won.
