Disability Matters - 2 days of free events

We – the Physical Disability Council of NSW are joining forces with Disability Advocacy and Intellectual Disability Rights Service to bring you two engaging days of FREE events for People with Disability, their parents and informal carers.

Join us for interactive workshops including learning how to speak up for yourself, understand how our services can empower you and how to strengthen your chances to find and keep an inclusive, accessible job; info-sessions on your rights as a person with disabilities, and understanding education support for our kids with disabilities; as well as self-care for their parents.

Enjoy our “meet and mingle” lunches, dinner, morning and afternoon teas, and share your experiences of living with disability in your community during our consultation sessions.  

We will then take the matters raised in these important conversations with you to discuss with local, state and federal government and to reinforce the issues we represent in our systemic advocacy work.

So come to share your stories, amplify your voice, meet and mingle with the disability community, and leave feeling empowered!
