Australian citizenship symbolises our unity as a nation. It represents a commitment to Australia and its people, the values we share and our common future.
Citizenship ceremonies are conducted by Broken Hill City Council three times per year - Australia Day on 26 January, date to be confirmed each April or May and National Citizenship Day on 17 September.
Once your application for Australian Citizenship has been approved you will be invited to attend a Citizenship ceremony. You must attend a ceremony within 12 months of your application approval.
