Broken Hill City Council is committed to working with the community to achieve an increasingly inclusive and accessible local government area (LGA).  The strategies within the Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) seek to create improved and equitable opportunities for all persons living with disability to access the full range of services and activities available in the community and to participate fully in the community.

 

A Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) is one of the three key Resourcing Strategies required by the NSW Integrated Planning & Reporting legislation. Local Government operations are vital to the community, and it is important stakeholders can understand the financial implications arising from its Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program and annual Operational Plan.

 

This plan helps ensure that the community’s strategic goals will be achieved by the Council workforce. The an effective Workforce Management Plan enables the Council to focus on the medium and long term goals and also provides a framework for dealing with immediate challenges with a consistent approach.
