The Perfect Light Film Festival is Broken Hill's iconic,annual film festival. Set against the stunning backdrop of Broken Hill, this 3 day event is FREE to attend and shines a spotlight on creativity, showcasing an exciting lineup of short films, feature films and workshops.
The Festival kicks off on the Thursday night (August 13) with a FREE screening of an independent feature film followed by a Q&A with the Director, Producer or Actor at Silver City Cinema.
The Friday features an outdoor, short film festival held at Sturt Park in Broken Hill (August 14). The short film festival features up to 12 short films all judged live by a panel of celebrity judges awarding monetary prizes. Food stalls, market stalls and live music add to the atmosphere. Starts at 6pm
The Saturday features a filmmaking workshop (August 15) at Screen Broken Hill 10am-2pm, anyone can come along, hear from industry leaders and learn the basics of making a short film and connect with other established or aspiring filmmakers.
