2026: Annual Plant Giveaway

Join us at Riddiford Arboretum on Saturday, 19 September from 8am to 12pm for a morning of planting, community and connection.

Come along to the Galena Street entrance and pick up a free plant to take home. This years plants are mainly native species and have been selected in consultation with the Riddiford Arboretum Working Group.

There’ll also be a planting demonstration for anyone wanting to learn more about caring for and planting native species.

PCYC will be firing up the BBQ with a sausage sizzle, and a range of local mental health and community organisations will be on hand to provide information and support.

The event is being hosted by Broken Hill City Council, the Riddiford Arboretum Working Group, Jordan Liberty Project and PCYC Broken Hill.

Come along, grab a plant, have a feed and enjoy a morning at the arboretum. Everyone is welcome!
