2021 Australia Day

Our Australia Day Ambassador for 2021 is Emma Rossi - television journalist, keynote speaker and women right's campaigner.
Emma Rossi spent nearly two decades reporting for news and current affairs on national television. Emma is the Director, Media and Internal communications for the ACCC, the competition and consumer regulator.
Emma has also taken a national leadership role in improving the online safety for Australian women fleeing domestic violence. She was instrumental in the establishment of Mary's house, a refuge in Sydney's lower north shore for women and children.
Council's Australia Day Ceremony will be held in the June Bronhill Auditorium at the Broken Hill Civic Centre on January, 26 2021.
The official proceedings begin at 9am (doors open at 8.30am) and include a Welcome to Country, Australia Day Address by our Australia Day Ambassador Emma Rossi, Citizenship Ceremony and Award Presentations. This will be followed by a morning tea.
