Your nature strip creates the first impression of your home. It is the buffer between you and the street. With the support from a NSW Environmental TrustEducation grant and Country Water, Council has created a demonstration nature strip site at the front of the Centre for Community in Beryl Street. This site provides ideas for irrigation methods, suitable plants and mulches you can use in your own garden and nature strip to reduce lead dust contamination and save water.
