The Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery offers a range of workshops and public programs designed to meet the needs of both the community and visitors.
Regular children’s and adult's art workshops and public lectures are facilitated by both our staff and visiting artists that provide a diverse range of learning experiences.
Etching - Broken Hill Print Collective:
Follow in the footsteps of Rembrandt and Picasso and learn the techniques for making prints from etched copper plates. The Print Collective will help prepare your plate for etching and then create your drawing, etch, print and admire!

George McCulloch: "From Bankrupt to BHP Director to Art Collector"
Laurie McCallum is a writer who published the first full biography of George McCulloch and his Art Collection in 2015.
Join us as Laurie brings to life one of the greatest collections of Modern British Art ever assembled and takes us on a Journey through the extraordinary life of this entrepreneur turned art collector.

Our education program is specifically targeted to primary and secondary schools and includes guided tours and workshop activities designed to provide a meaningful and engaging learning experience. We also provide tours and activities for other community groups and visitors. Bookings for educational programs do need to be organised in advance.
