Base Salary $74,901 to $80,145 plus super

Council is seeking a suitably qualified applicant to fill the permanent full time role of Projects Officer.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, this position is responsible for overseeing the coordination and delivery of projects on behalf of the Broken Hill City Council to ensure strict probity is maintained and all required objectives and contract obligations are met. The role includes the delivery of quality projects, on time and within budget, program management and innovation and research into new technologies.
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who can demonstrate the following:
- Relevant qualifications and/or work experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Experience across multiple construction and /or building projects
- Knowledge and/or experience of procurement processes
- Experience with contract management of projects
- Well-developed skills in preparation of submissions and report writing
- A ‘can do’ attitude focused on delivering outcomes.
