Base salary $78,590 - $84,125 plus super

We have an exciting career opportunity working within our Infrastructure team as a Garage Coordinator.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer you will support Broken Hill City Council by overseeing the efficient operation and performance of Council’s Workshop, including the coordination of maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and plant machinery, annual vehicle registrations, liaising with relevant stakeholders and supervising all workshop tradespeople.
A key component of the position will be to enhance Council’s public image through responsive and effective liaison and communication with the community, business and other stakeholders.
We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate who can demonstrate the following:-
- Trade mechanic qualification
- Well-developed administration skills
- Proven communication skills
- Experience in supervising a multi-skilled team.
- Proven ability to implement and improve processes to manage workflow
- A ‘can do’ attitude focused on delivering outcomes.
