Step back a hundred years and become acquainted with one of the oldest clubs in Broken Hill.
At a time when arid land conservation was little understood, much less practised, the Barrier Field Naturalists’ Club advocated for the protection of the fragile environment of Far West NSW.
Using archival photographs, paintings and original texts, this Centenary Exhibition reflects on how a small number of committed people can effect positive change.
The Barrier Field Naturalists’ Club acknowledges and respects the Wilyakali and Barkindji peoples on whose Country we live.
