There is just one month left to lodge nominations for the 2019 Christmas Pageant and after party.

Council is hoping to see the event continue to grow after a bumper pageant in 2018 attracted 55 floats.

Council's Events Coordinator, Rachel Merton, said she expected nominations to increase as the cut-off date approaches.

"We have 15 float nominations and five stall nominations for the after party so far," she said.

"That's probably about average for this time of year, but we'd love to see more start to roll in.

"As we say every year, the earlier people get their nominations in, the better we can prepare for the event to ensure it all runs smoothly for the city's kids and their families.

The Christmas Pageant will commence at 6pm on December 7, with the after party in Sturt Park to follow from 6.30pm.

The after party will feature a range of stalls and children's entertainment by Get Your Groove On.

The registration form for floats and stalls can be found below, or in the 'forms' section of Council's website. Please note applications close at 4.30pm on November 22.

The Christmas Pageant is conducted by Broken Hill City Council.
