2023 Miners' Memorial Service
On this day in 1902 two young miners Leopold Campbell and Thomas Jordan were tragically killed on this Line of Lode. Their bodies were never recovered.
It is appropriate therefore that the CFMEU and BHCC have agreed that annually, on 8 October, we will assemble and honour all those that have been killed on our mines or have died from mining related injuries and or mining related disease.
