May Gibbs' Exhibition

It’s 100 years since May Gibbs’ adorable characters found their way into the homes and hearts of Australians, and Broken Hill City Library is celebrating with a free travelling display featuring May Gibbs’ iconic artwork, on from 5th to 17th May.

Tech Savvy Seniors Regional Road Show

Come along to a free technology session followed by some light refreshments.
The 2018 Tech Savvy Seniors Regional Road Show will be visiting Broken Hill on 20 and 23 April.
The road show will provide seniors with the opportunity to participate in training in how to use and operate different technology devices such as computers, tablets and smartphones. Tech Savvy Seniors can help you to build your skills and confidence to use technology, stay in touch with family and friends and access important services online.

The turnaround of Council's finances appears on track with a report from the NSW Government acknowledging the city's improved financial position.

The State Government carries out periodic assessments of NSW Councils' finances and assets through its Treasury Corporation (TCorp) in order to ascertain each Council's long-term financial strength, or Financial Sustainability Rating (FSR).
