Vacant Land List

Last modified: August 6, 2008 - 11:29 AM

Council has placed on its website the details of 28 vacant blocks of land which the owners are willing to sell.

“Compiling this vacant land list is just one way that Council is assisting with the projected growth of the city,” Council’s General Manager Frank Zaknich said.

“In assembling the vacant land list, Council contacted owners of vacant blocks within the City asking them whether they were willing to be added to a database of vacant blocks for sale.

“The property owners listed have consented to their contact details being made publicly available by Council for the purpose of interested persons being able to contact them direct in regard to possible purchase of their vacant land.

“It is suggested that persons interested in purchasing a block of land contact the owner of the land in writing to initiate discussion regarding the sale of the land.

“Council is providing the list for information purposes and can give no guarantee about the suitability of the land for development, availability of utilities or services in respect of the vacant land.

The Vacant Land List can be downloaded from the link below.  Copies in their entirety are also available from Council's Customer Service Desk, Council Administrative Centre, situated at 240 Blende Street, Broken Hill.
