On 23 May 1993, Broken Hill officially opened the Sculpture Symposium within the Living Desert Sanctuary.

Three new exhibitions are opening at the Gallery on the evening of Friday the 17 May, with doors
opening at 6.00pm.

The Outback Open Art Prize is a major art prize conducted annually by the Broken Hill
Regional Art Gallery and generously supported by Mrs Raylee Hart.
