Council's Management Team includes the General Manager Gerg Wright and three Group Managers. 

GENERAL MANAGER - GREG WRIGHT


GROUP MANAGER SUSTAINABILITY - PETER OLDSEN MAIBS, MAIEH Peter Oldsen

Peter Oldsen is the Group Manager Sustainability. Peter has been employed by Broken Hill City Council for 26 years in various senior roles including Director of Environmental Services and Manager of Building and Development. Peter has qualifications in Environmental Health, Building Surveying and Town Planning. 


 

GROUP MANAGER INFRASTRUCTURE - PAUL DELISIO 

Paul joined Council in August 2006. Paul was awarded a Paul Delisio

Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree by the University Of Adelaide in 1980 and moved to Broken Hill that year to join the Zinc Corporation (which eventually evolved into Pasminco) as an electrical engineer.  Paul 's career at the mining site evolved into Paul being responsible for the provision of the engineering and design service to the site. With the closure of Pasminco in 2002, Paul left the mining industry to work briefly for Telstra before joining Country Energy as a projects engineer  with involvement in major water and electrical infrastructure projects. Paul also holds an MBA (Technology Management) and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.

GROUP MANAGER, BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AND CORPORATE SERVICES - KATE O'NEILL

Kate O'Neill is the Group Manager, Business Improvement and Kate O'Neill
Corporate Services. Kate has been awarded a Graduate Certificate in Management and first class honours in Bachelor Business (Information Systems). Kate joins the Broken Hill City Council with ten years experience in South Australian Local Government working as the Corporate Governance Manager at the Adelaide City Council and Manager Governance and Business Processes with the District Council of Mount Barker. Kate has also worked as a Senior Consultant and Associate with Business + Risk Solutions partnering with Local Government clients (metro and rural) in the areas of Governance, Business Improvement and Risk Management.
