Council can request the services of qualified contractors and companies to assist its teams complete projects.  

Calls for an Expression of Interest are advertised in the Barrier Daily Truth (Broken Hill's Daily newspaper), in relevant national and regional newspapers and on Council's Web Site.

Expressions should be written in conjunction with Council's Tendering Policy.

Partners For Civic Ball 2013

Expressions of interest to partner with the Broken Hill City Council in the delivery of the 2013 Civic Ball are

now being sought.  The Civic Ball partnership provides a rare opportunity to support the City's most prestigious ball.  Interested parties should provide details on the financial or in-kind support to be provided as part of the proposed partnership.

All expressions of interest will be assessed against the following criteria:

· The partner's compatibility with Council's values

· The partner's ability to enhance the reputation and appeal of the Civic Ball

· The partner's ability to assist Council with cost neutrality in staging the Civic Ball

· Alignment with Council's Sponsorship Policy
