The CDSE is a state-wide initiative of ClubsNSW through which local clubs allocate significant support to projects and services that contribute to the well being of their communities. Local Clubs involved in the Scheme are the Barrier Social Democratic Club, Broken Hill Legion Club, Broken Hill Musicians Club and the Broken Hill Sturt Club. Community Development Grants are designed for non-profit community organisations based in Broken Hill to initiate and complete a specific project or purchase. Grants for between $500 - $3000 can be approved if there is no alternative source of funding. Applications for a Community Development Grant close in on 31 March and 30 September each year. more ..
